Data Alliance Secures Pre-A Investment from TS Investment… Accelerating Global Expansion of Its GPU-Sharing Platform

Data Alliance, the AI infrastructure company that was first to introduce a GPU (graphics processing unit) sharing service in Korea, has secured a Pre-A investment from TS Investment. Building on this, the company plans to fully launch its push into both the domestic and global markets this year.

According to Data Alliance on the 11th, the company secured a KRW 3 billion Pre-A investment from TS Investment late last year.

"After fully launching our service last year, we received strong interest from a number of investors," a Data Alliance representative said. "Given the rapid pace of our business expansion and market demand, we chose to first wrap up the Pre-A round — a stepping stone ahead of Series A."

Data Alliance introduced Korea's first GPU-sharing service model, "gcube," in August 2024.

The company possesses the technical capability to consolidate previously unused GPU equipment — companies' idle servers, high-performance desktop GPUs sitting idle across the country, and personal gaming rigs — into a single cloud environment.

These resources are made available for AI developers to use immediately through a standardized container execution environment and a distributed GPU scheduler. This allows AI developers to carry out large-scale model training and inference at up to 90% lower cost than conventional cloud services, while GPU providers can generate revenue simply by sharing their resources, without any separate technical management.

After going through a beta version in 2024 and fully launching last year, gcube is now used across a wide range of settings — large corporations, mid-sized companies, startups, the public sector, universities, and individual researchers.

Among its achievements, the company won the "Global AI Impact Award" at "Try Everything 2025," a global startup festival hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government last year, and signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with FPT Group — Vietnam's largest IT company — for global expansion. More recently, it won an Innovation Award in the AI category (CES Innovation Awards) at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, USA.

Building on this investment and the achievements recognized externally last year, Data Alliance plans to accelerate its push into the global market this year.

"At CES 2026, we met many global companies and government officials and confirmed strong interest in the gcube model," said CEO Kwangbeom Lee. "Through our partnership with FPT Group last year, we are targeting the Asian market, while also exploring the European market — including Lithuania, where we built connections at CES this year. We will step up our efforts to bring gcube to the global market this year."
