The "New Technology & New Product Showcase," held as a side event of World IT Show (WIS) 2026, has established itself as a key business platform connecting promising tech companies with capital. Beyond simply introducing products, it is regarded as a gateway to commercialization — one where startups equipped with innovative technology pass the rigorous scrutiny of venture capitalists (VCs) and move on to real investment and business-partnership discussions.

At the showcase, held on the afternoon of the 23rd in Hall C of COEX in Seoul, six innovative companies that had cleared intense preliminary screening took the stage and unveiled AI and digital-innovation solutions ready to be applied in the field.

Amid sharp Q&A from investment-firm representatives — including fund managers under the Ministry of Science and ICT — each company focused on proving the marketability and commercialization vision of its technology.

CIT, winner of a CES Innovation Award this year, introduced ultra-flat copper thin-film technology needed for high-capacity, ultra-high-speed data transfer in applications such as AI accelerators, presenting an approach to next-generation semiconductor performance innovation.

Deep In Sight showcased "DimenView," a 3D spatial-intelligence solution that enables high-precision spatial data to be captured quickly. It implements digital twins through AI-based 3D scanning, serving as a foundation for physical AI.

"DimenView is the fastest, most practical first step toward realizing digital twins and smart factories on manufacturing, logistics, and construction sites," a Deep In Sight representative said. "It will become core infrastructure that accelerates industrial innovation."

SWM, presenting an urban robotaxi solution, demonstrated mobility innovation on the strength of real late-night autonomous-driving operational data accumulated in downtown Gangnam and its commercialization achievements. In addition, DoubleT (AI industrial-safety prevention) and Deepfine (AI smart-glasses logistics picking), among others, presented advanced solutions ready for immediate adoption in their respective industries.

The on-site judging panel included major domestic investors such as STIC Ventures, Albatross Investment, and G&Tech Venture Investment — all fund managers under the Ministry of Science and ICT — as well as Lotte Ventures and LX Ventures, who explored immediate investment review, technology sourcing, and business collaboration.

In the day's judging, the Grand Prize went to Data Alliance, which presented gcube, a distributed GPU cloud service. gcube connects idle resources to let users access GPUs at a lower cost than conventional GPUaaS. The Awards of Excellence went to Deep In Sight and CIT.

"This showcase is a venue offering practical opportunities for technically capable startups to connect directly with large corporations and investors," the organizers said. "It will also be a meaningful occasion for attendees to grasp the latest ICT trends at a glance."
